
The 2022 NZEI Te Riu Roa Hui-ā-Tau | Annual Meeting is being held in Rotorua at the Energy Events Centre from Sunday 2 October - Wednesday 5 October.
The whakataukī for Hui-ā-Tau is Kia manawa tītī. Kia manawa tītī is the epitomy of perseverance and endurance. Anyone who has the heart of a titi has the staying power to keep fighting past the point of discomfort to achieve their goal, reach their destination and complete their tasks.
Safe Space Policy
NZEI Te Riu Roa is committed to providing a safe and harassment-free experience for everyone regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, ability, physical appearance, size, race, religion or occupation.
The safe space policy will be in place for the 2022 Annual Meeting.
NZEI Te Riu Roa will not tolerate harassment. Harassment includes (but is not limited to)
- Offensive written or verbal comments
- Offensive social media posts
- Cat-calling or sexual harassment
- Deliberate intimidation
- Stalking or following
- Unwanted physical contact
Intoxication, ignorance or "jokes" do not excuse inappropriate behaviour.
