UPDATE: 23 March 2020, Event postponed until 2021

The Rural Teaching Principals' Conference has been postponed due to the impact and uncertainty surrounding the current COVID-19 virus. With the escalating COVID-19 situation nationally, schools are busy managing their own emerging situations.

Based on the advice and directions from the New Zealand government, the RTPC will be postponed until 2021. We are saddened to announce that the RTPC will no longer be taking place this year, however in light of the developing situation, it is important that the safety of our members and staff comes first.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we will be issuing refunds for the registration fee paid. We recommend you get in contact with the accommodation supplier and any travel you may have booked as soon as possible.

Registrations are now open for the Rural and Teaching Principals' Conference.

The theme is Relationships, Rejuvenate, Reinvigorate. The Taranaki-based planning committee having been working hard to create an exciting and engaging programme, and we are happy to announce that the 2020 Rural and Teaching Principals' Conference will include a visit to Parihaka. Parihaka is one of New Zealand's most important historic sites and we would be pleased if you are able to share this special experience with us.

And yes - non-rural attendees are also welcome!

Costs are $650 for members and $750 for non-members.

  • Speakers
  • Conference catering
